Charles R. “Chip” Dashiell, Jr. has been a practicing attorney with the law firm of Hearne & Bailey, P.A. since his admission to the Maryland Bar in 1973. His focus is primarily in the areas of Estates & Trusts, and Real Estate.
Mr. Dashiell received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wake Forest University in 1970 and Juris Doctor Degree from Wake Forest University in 1973. His accomplishments throughout the years are notable. In addition to serving as Vice President of the Wicomico County Council from 2002-2006, Mr. Dashiell is a member of the Board of Directors and treasurer of First Shore Federal Savings and Loan Association. He is Chair of the Salisbury-Wicomico Planning and Zoning Commission, and a member of the Board of Trustees, Wesley College, Dover, Delaware, having served as Chair of the Board from 1999 – 2012. He is also a Past Chair of the Greater Salisbury Committee, a Past President of the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Dashiell’s community involvement includes service on the Board of Salisbury Neighborhood House Service, former member of the Board of the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore, Wor-Wic Community College Foundation, Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Blood Bank of Delmarva, and the Central City District Commission.
Mr. Dashiell is a member of the Wicomico County Bar Association, Maryland State Bar Association, and American Bar Association. Further, he is a Fellow of the Maryland Bar Foundation. Mr. Dashiell is a lifelong member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Salisbury, Maryland. He is married to Ruby B, Dashiell, a retired school psychologist with the Wicomico County Board of Education.
